Renew, Start Anew, Be New!

On the playground with the children, the teacher saw a particularly bright-eyed 5 year old looking at her. He asked, "Are you old?" The teacher did a double take, swallowed hard and said, "Yes, I guess I am." The little boy looked at her and smiled ear-to-ear and responded, "I'm new!" and ran off. And now, as you begin the new year, I encourage you to follow his example and Renew, Start Anew and Be New every chance you get! Let's look at some ways you can do that:
  • Remember that the cells of your body/mind are constantly renewing, regenerating and revitalizing--spend some time daily focusing on that.
  • Practice meditation and deep breathing on a regular basis, as a method of staying in the ever-new present moment.
  • Spend time with children and animals, enter their always fresh and new experience with them and let them guide you in exploring this amazing world we live in.
  • Access, heal and enliven the child within you, to re-awaken that essence of newness and vitality that you were born with.
  • Practice gratitude, appreciation and optimism, which will continually renew and revitalize you.
Every time you hear "Happy New Year!" think to yourself..."that's me, happy and new." Never underestimate the power of your mind and your ability to focus and refocus on the constant improvement of you and your life.

A Whole New You!

There are two ways of seeing the "you" that you choose to become. One is a result of all that you have seen that you like and dislike. It's a kind of selection process of, "I'm that...I'm not that." So, imagine that ideal you that you would like to be--and don't hold back. See yourself as you would really like to be, and consider that a part of you is already there--that is who you are becoming.

The second way of seeing the whole new you is be getting in touch with the child within you, that has never died or gone away. This inner child is full of life, energy and enthusiasm, and even if you feel way out of touch with these aspects of yourself, they never go away. That exuberant child is waiting for you, right now. Listen now to a free preview of the Nurturing Your Inner Child program, and read the entire script at no charge. Or, take advantage of our holiday discount and download the entire audio program.

This is like taking the best of your past (your inner child) and future (the you that you are becoming) and bringing them together to create a whole new you in the present moment! To get inspired along these lines, watch this video of Kevin Spacey talking to a group of aspiring young actors

To Lighten And Enlighten You

Discover how Positivity Is King in a great article that spells out in no uncertain terms that being positive is essential to business success. You will also find a real super-charged boost in the Sark Journal, a great web site about "celebrating gorgeous moments, dancing with difficulties and appreciating everything!" Enjoy this sidewalk chalk art and a We Are The World video, before watching a grand lady doing yoga at 92 years old and how babies are helping young people learn empathy.

Now be amazed as photographic technology literally slows down time and shows the surprising dance of a water droplet and a beautiful underwater video in Austria that will soothe and please you. And I know you'll appreciate this video of dancing shadows, and the talent that went into its production. And now as we continue on our journey from the sublime to the silly, check out the beer bottle band Christmas song--it's actually quite beautiful, and fun to watch! And if you've ever had issues with your technology not working right...and would like to laugh about it, watch My Blackberry's Not Working! So, now you've lightened up and might be just a little more enlightened as well!
