Don't Miss The Bliss!

Opportunities to feel good
are all around you, all of the time. Take a moment to appreciate what is good, right and working in your life right now. That state of appreciation is good for your mind and body, and it will literally make you kinder, more patient and more loving in all of your relationships. You will literally become more attractive. Think of the face of a child in unabashed joy, or a smile straight from the heart of a grandfather holding his precious grandson. There is nothing more beautiful in human beings than the state of appreciation...which is actually love. Listen to the singing duo MaMuse sing "Glorious" as you continue to read, and it will help you into the bliss.

Don't take anything for granted. Become an appreciator of all that is good in your life, and you will slowly and steadily emerge into the magnificent human being you were born to be. Appreciation, love and joy are at the heart of who you are. So when you deliberately choose to focus on things that activate those emotions, you are becoming more authentically yourself. What if you knew, deep inside yourself, that you are brilliant, kind and creative beyond anything you have ever imagined? Everything we are learning about the nature of the human soul tells us that is true.

The Children Are Laughing

What if they've got it right? What if the child-like state of awe and enthusiasm were actually more wise and realistic than the serious, concerned and often burdened mood and attitude of most adults? Certainly there is value and necessity in being responsible and productive. Yet we are even more responsible and productive when we have have the energy and positive emotion of a child-like appreciation running through us like a super-powered blood stream of joy. Children are naturally creative, which means that you are naturally creative. So, what are you creating?

You create with your focus of attention. What you pay attention to grows, because you literally are feeding it with your focus. This is why it's true that "what we resist persists." If you don't like something, I'm sure you don't want it to grow...so don't feed it with your attention. Shift the powerful creative power of your mental focus to what you do like, what you agree with and want more of in your life. Children do not naturally dwell on what is wrong. Let that be your example to follow. A child will automatically look for what is interesting, exciting, uplifting and fun. This provides energy and enthusiasm to fuel the action needed to create what you want, responsibly and productively. Kids, Laughter and Awe

Since we're talking about children, let's start with this touching video showing people sending messages of encouragement and reassurance to their child self. This focuses on an unusual form of connection...connection with your self. Here is a beautiful video (Facebook ad) on making connections, and this TED video is from a mom having "the talk" with her daughter--hilarious! And now, be prepared for some awesome glimpses of the beauty of this universe we inhabit. You'll love seeing what an astronaut sees at night, and this incredible video showing a closeup view of an active volcano. Now watch the incredible skill and talent of the weaver bird literally weaving its nest, and the absolutely amazing birds of paradise--don't miss this one!

For some post-Halloween fun, watch the witch in a broom factory and the Halloween fun run--it's always uplifting to see families just goofing around and having fun together! It's always great to see people being creative, having fun and helping others--watch these videos about Chocomize, The Puppet Kitchen and Juicing For The Homeless. Now let's top this off with some critter fun, with cats playing pattycake and the amazing, delightful BeeBee the Chihuahua.
